- Open the referral link or page. Use our link https://app.hyperliquid.xyz/join/POLYGOLD, or go to app.hyperliquid.xyz/referrals in your browser. Check the address bar shows app.hyperliquid.xyz.
- Connect your wallet or log in. Connect the same EVM wallet, or email login, that you will trade with.
- Enter the code. Type POLYGOLD in the referral code field if it is not already filled in, and confirm. This is a free signature, not a payment.
- Check it applied. The referrals page shows the code you are using. Do this before your first trade so the discount covers all your volume.
What the code gives you
Hyperliquid's referral programme is simple and published in its official docs:
- 4% discount on your trading fees for your first $25M of trading volume.
- The discount applies to the account that entered the code. It does not apply to vaults or sub-accounts, which Hyperliquid treats as separate accounts.
- There is no deposit bonus, no free credit and no special trading privilege. The code is a fee discount, nothing more.
In money terms: a $10,000 market order on perps at the entry tier costs $4.50 in fees. With the code it costs $4.32. Across $1M of volume at entry-tier taker rates that is $450 in fees reduced to $432, a saving of $18. Small, but it adds up for active traders and costs you nothing. - Manually: go to app.hyperliquid.xyz/referrals, connect, and enter POLYGOLD.

How referrers earn
The person or site whose code you use receives a reward that Hyperliquid's docs describe as "10% of referred users' fees, less any fee discount they receive", on your first $1B of volume. Depending on how the discount is netted, that is roughly 6–10% of your fees while your 4% discount is active, and 10% after your first $25M. This comes out of the fees Hyperliquid collects; it does not add anything to what you pay. Rewards accrue in the quote assets you trade in and can be claimed once they exceed $1, after which they appear in the referrer's spot balance.
To create your own code you need at least $10,000 of trading volume. After that you can pick a code on the referrals page and share it.
Our disclosure
POLYGOLD is Hyper Primer's own referral code. If you use it, Hyperliquid pays us a share of the trading fees you generate, as described above. It does not raise your costs, and it gives you a 4% fee discount you would not otherwise get. We are an independent guide and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Hyperliquid. Combining with other discounts

Stay safe with referral links
- Only enter codes on app.hyperliquid.xyz. Fake "referral bonus" sites are a common phishing trick.
- Applying a code never requires sending funds, sharing a seed phrase or approving a token spend.
- A fee discount does not make leveraged trading safe. Read how liquidation works before you open a position.
Hyperliquid restricts access from some places, including the United States and Ontario. A referral code does not change that. Check is Hyperliquid legal first.

Can I add a referral code after I have started trading?
The referrals page lets you enter a code, but the discount only applies to fees from then on. Add it before your first trade to get the most from it.
Is there a Hyperliquid sign-up bonus?
No. The referral code gives a fee discount only. Treat any site promising free USDC or a deposit bonus as a likely scam.
How much volume do I need to make my own referral code?
