The legal situation in Kenya
Kenya is not on Hyperliquid's restricted list. The Virtual Asset Service Providers Act 2025 (Act No. 20 of 2025) created a licensing regime, and the VASP Regulations 2026 (LN 134 of 2026, circulated 22 July 2026) give providers until November 2026 to comply. The Regulations apply to offshore entities that solicit Kenyan consumers, regardless of physical presence. We found no action naming Hyperliquid.
